Intensive Family Reunification Specialist
Responsible for providing
in-home client-centered intensive reunification and stabilization
services and preservation and stabilization services to strengthen and
preserve families by helping parents and children manage conflict
through behavior management or modification, anger management, parenting
skills, and self esteem building. The Specialist offers services to
families on a court mandated basis and works as a part of the Wesley
House Team and assists in the reunification process. In addition the
Specialist will assist with the placement of children out of home in
coordination with the Protective Investigators of the Florida Department
of Children & Families (DCF), Our Kids, Inc (OK). and Wesley House
Family Services (WHFS) staff. Bachelor’s Degree in social services
required; Master’s Degree preferred. Three F/T positions are
currently available: two in the Lower Keys and one in the Upper
Keys.
Finance Director
F/T position in Key West. Responsible for
directing, coordinating, maintaining, facilitating and controlling the
accounting and Finance operations of the WHFS. Monitors Finance policies
and procedures and recommends improvements, consults with the Senior
Management, participates in establishing and implementing major goals
and objectives, responsible for achieving performance standards, and is
responsible for the budget development and internal and external audit
functions. Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree and CPA
preferred.

Case Manager
Two F/T positions in Key West. Responsible
for protecting children by working with families who have had
allegations of abuse, neglect, and/or abandonment made about them.
Provides services through one or more of the following areas: initial
assessment services, volunteer supervision, court ordered protective
supervision, adoptions, or foster care services. Also, provide direct
services as needed to children and families. Bachelor’s Degree in social
services field required, Master’s Degree preferred.

Intervention Prevention Counselor
Responsible for a range of family prevention, support, intervention,
preservation and reunification services to prevent child abuse and
neglect and to build on family’s strengths, to preserve intact families
or to strengthen families for reunification efforts. Offers voluntary
and a mandated services to families and works as a part of the Wesley
House Service Center Teams. This position is located in Key West.
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in social services or related human
service field plus three or more years of family oriented support work
in a similar environment is required.

mandated basis and works as a part of the Wesley House Team and assists
in the placement of children out of home in coordination with the
Protective Investigators of the Florida Department of Children &
Families (DCF), Our Kids, Inc (OK). and Wesley House Family Services
(WHFS) staff. Bachelor’s Degree in social services, psychology, or
related human service field required; Master’s Degree in related field
preferred. Also required is experience working with social service
agencies and with complex multi-problem families and at least one year
direct functional experience working directly with children.
