Parenting & Divorce is a program designed to help parents learn about the impact of divorce on their children, how to help their children adjust to the changes and to recognize their continuing responsibility as a Parent Forever. Participation in the class is mandated by the state of Florida for all parents undergoing divorce.
Parenting & Divorce is a four hour class usually given in the early evening to accommodate work schedules and the attendee must be present during the entire four hours to receive a certificate for presentation to the court.
The course offered by Wesley House Family Services fulfills the requirement of the administrative order for Parent Education and Family Stabilization Course as required in the 16th Judicial Circuit: Section 61.21, Florida Statutes.

C.A.F.E (Children and Family Education) Training
Wesley House Family Services provides free training on topics of interest to the public. The trainings are often offered in the early evening to accommodate work schedules and are held throughout the year at various locations spanning Monroe County on a variety of topics. Sessions last about an hour and resources are available to take home.
